Lenalid 10mg Tablets by Natco is an immunomodulator that helps eliminate abnormal cells in the bone marrow that will affect the functioning of the immune system and produce new normal blood cells. Lenalidomide affects the immune system. Promotes the immune response and prevents inflammation in the body.
Lenalidomide treats multiple myeloma (plasma carcinoma) in patients who have received treatment with dexamethasone at least once before its use. Lenalid is also available in doses of 5 and 10 mg.

What is Lenalid 10 mg
Lenalidomide is classified as “immune regulators” and “angiogenesis inhibitors”. It affects all types of cellular processes, including the way cells divide and grow. It sends signals to itself so that cells can develop.
It affects the chemicals it uses to interfere with the immune system, which is why they are called immunomodulators and also prevent tumors from building their own blood vessels. Any cancer that develops requires a blood supply.
Lenalid 10mg (Lenalidomide 10mg) treats anemia and multiple myeloma (cancer caused by progressive vascular disease).
It is used in patients with myelodysplasia caused by abnormal chromosomes. This disorder is also called a 5q MDS deletion because part of chromosome 5 is missing.

How to take Lenalid 10 mg
Lenalid 10 mg is generally taken on a 28-day cycle and once a day or as directed by a doctor.
Lenalid 10 mg capsules can be taken with or without food, but for maximum benefit, make sure you take them at the same time each day. Your doctor will decide how and how often to take it.

In an Overdosage:
If I take more lenalid 10mg, contact your doctor or local hospital and emergency department.
Miss Dosage:
Forget about taking lenalid 10 mg at the usual time, and if it goes away within 12 hours, take it immediately. More than 12 hours have passed – do not take the medicine. Please take the following doses at your usual time the next day. Do not double the dose.
Stop Taking lenalid 10 mg:
Do not stop take lenalid until your doctor has told you do so.

Cholestyramine and activated charcoal can reduce the concentration of active metabolites in plasma. Concomitant use of methotrexate and other hepatotoxic drugs may increase the risk of hepatotoxicity.
Rifampicin increases the serum levels of active metabolites.
It can be fatal: it can exacerbate the side effects of live vaccines.
